From Rookie to Top of the Class

Our next Learner of the Month is a self-proclaimed “rookie in the furniture world” and her commitment to learning the industry shows! Not only did she attend Lori’s live and interactive virtual sessions, but she also spent time in the video library learning on demand.

Congrats to Mallory Carter of Pigott for taking top honors for September!

We asked Mallory how she sees herself applying her newfound knowledge to her role.

“The seating overview in particular was very helpful and intuitive. As a designer, I don’t get much of an opportunity to go over all the gadgets that a chair can offer with a client. Typically, the salespeople do that and I don’t feel as comfortable when we are in a tight pinch and I need to be the one to explain. That session really helped me learn more about the function of each chair and what would be best for the client depending on their work environment.”

And her favorite part of the INDEAL U program?

“I really enjoyed the enthusiasm and involvement during the courses.”

Lori does aim to edutain! Thanks, Mallory – we are so happy to have helped you along your learning journey and glad we could make it a little fun too.
